Cherry Hill Towers wishes you a happy Fourth of July! Our offices will close early on Friday, July 3rd at 4 pm and be closed on Saturday July 4th. All of our facilities are still available so take advantage of the swimming pool, the barbecue grills and picnic area as well as our newly laid out wood chip bath behind the West Tower!

Happy Birthday America!

Summertime means family fun in Philadelphia with the annual Sunoco Welcome America! festival. This year, visitors to the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection will be treated to a weekend of free, family-friendly activities to ring in our nation’s July 4th birthday in grand style. Brilliant fireworks displays, delicious dishes, cultural events and the largest free concert in America guarantee days and nights of excitement and discovery.

The fun starts July 2-5 when Philadelphia hosts millions of residents and visitors for a celebration of the nation’s birthday. The morning of July 4 begins with traditional ceremonies on historic Independence Mall, followed by a parade through storied Historic Philadelphia (new route!) with bands, flags and pageantry reminiscent of an old-fashioned Main Street, USA parade. In the afternoon, the “Party on the Parkway” will feature activities, games, food and entertainment for the whole family, set against the dramatic background of museums, attractions, architecture and flags of the world.

When the sun goes down on July 4, Philadelphia will host the biggest, most spectacular, free outdoor concert in America as chart-topping hitmakers take to the stage. The music and fun will be followed by an amazing fireworks grand finale set against the dramatic Art Museum.

The Pool is Now Open and Summer is Here!

Cherry Hill Towers not only prides itself on great apartment homes, but overall great community living. Memorial Day marks the unofficial beginning of summer and so we opened our pool to our residents. The pool, which is open from 11am to 7pm, is beautiful and definitely one of the best features our residents get to take advantage of. For residents, we have Summer 2009 Pool Passes that you need to pick up in the office.

The pool has tons of patio furniture and is perfect to get a tan by or to take a dip and cool off. Right behind the pool is our picnic and grilling area with charcoal grills, picnic tables and a hot ash trash can so you can clean up after you are done making burgers and hot dogs.

Summer time is also a great season for golfing. We have a golf putting green and a Bocce ball court for other outdoor activities. Also, our tennis courts, which are open after it gets dark, are a great way to work out and enjoy the nice summertime weather. The grounds at Cherry Hill Towers are beautiful and a place to meet and socialize with your new neighbors.

Cherry Hill Towers Wine and Cheese Night!

Tonight from 5 to 7pm, Cherry Hill Towers will be hosting a Wine & Cheese Cocktail Hour at our elegant clubhouse. Along with various wines from Total Wine as well as some other refreshments, there will be a live band playing. It's a great way to meet your neighbors and enjoy a night of relaxation after a long stressful day of work. Be sure to come by the office and enjoy this event and get a sampling of some fine wines and other refreshments.

Spring: One of the Best Seasons to Move

Spring has finally arrived. Even though a few cold days will linger, it is nice to see that the flowers are blooming. One thing that Cherry Hill Towers prides itself in is making the apartment community beautiful not just inside and around the buildings, but outside. We have a 22 acre nature park that will soon be filled with greenery as well as beautiful spring flowers blooming around the property. We are getting closer to warm weather and our outside amenities will start to become more popular. We have beautiful grounds including a golf putting green for the aspiring golfer, tennis courts to sharpen your game, a picnic area equipped with grills as well as a gorgeous swimming pool. The pool won't be open for a few months, but preparations to have it ready for Memorial Day Weekend are already underway. It's a great time to move and take advantage of these amenities as the spring weather leads to summer (which will be here before we know it!)

CHT Fitness Program: A Great Way to Stay in Shape

Back in January, Cherry Hill Towers introduced a fitness program to our fantastic fitness centers. Each building has their own center and with the help of James Jefferson, an area personal trainer, we have been able to bring all kinds of fitness classes to our residents. It's a great way to utilize the facilities that we have to offer and it's a great service to our residents. Free consultations, advice on proper dieting, training for proper use of equipment and proper stretching techniques are just a few of the things our trainers provide. For being a fitness center in an apartment community, this kind of service is something hard to come by. If you are a current resident, check out James Your Personal Trainer's website for more information or stop by the leasing office for a pamphlet. For those looking for an apartment, stop on by the office and we will show you our facilities. It's definitely a great service and something that makes Cherry Hill Towers a unique and accommodating place to live.

Nordstrom Set to Open This Week!

Cherry Hill has seen a lot of revitalization in the past few years. With the Garden State Park turning into a great place to shop, eat and entertain, a lot of new traffic has come into the area bringing new residents and more convenience. Our last post mentioned the various restaurants opening and finally the big opening, Nordstrom's Department Store, has finally come. The old Strawbridge's wing was torn down and took some time to be built, but now the staff is here and ready to open on Friday, March 27th. The Cherry Hill Mall is a South Jersey landmark. It's the oldest mall this side of the Mississippi and has always been an important part of the surrounding areas. For a long while, a face lift was needed as the Cherry Hill Mall paled in comparison to areas like King of Prussia. Thankfully, the major renovation project to bring Nordstrom finally came through and is complete. As a neighbor to this fine establishment, Cherry Hill Towers is definitely excited to see the mall get a great upgrade for it's residents.

Cherry Hill Towers just got more convenient. Fine dining from several restaurants have been in the works for some time and finally a few of them have opened! The first to open their doors for new entertainment is Maggiano's Little Italy. Boasting authentic Italian-American cuisine, Maggiano's is great for a taste of the Mediterranean. Opening next week is Seasons 52. It's a new restaurant to the area that specializes in seasonally fresh food choices. Moderately priced and delicious food is something hard to come by, but Seasons 52 definitely delivers. Soon to open is the fantastic steakhouse The Capitol Grill. You no longer need to drive to Philadelphia to get great steaks and enjoy a nice out. We are lucky to have such a great location at Cherry Hill Towers and now with some excellent new choices for dining, you can relax and be just seconds away from your home.
